Our Heritage
Bairds Windows Ltd (formerly Proframe), manufacture and install a wide range of top quality Windows, Doors & Conservatories, in PVC-u, timber and Alu-Clad.
We supply direct to the public and to the building trade, from a single replacement window to complete sets of windows and doors for new build projects.
We are based in Newton Stewart, Dumfries & Galloway, in Southwest Scotland, where you are welcome to visit our showroom and factory. We also deliver throughout Scotland and the North of England.
Bairds Windows is a family run business established in 1994 by Joiner Eric Baird. He has since been joined by his 2 sons, Malcolm (Production Director) and Duncan (Sales & Marketing Director). We employ 25 other staff including our own fitting teams.

We have a service to suit everyone, so if you’re looking for us to take care of everything we offer a complete home survey and installation service. If you are a DIY’er or have your own builder you may want to install the products yourself. We can deliver your products to your home or site.

We are the only Manufacturer and Installer of high quality PVC-u and Timber Windows, Doors and Conservatories in South West Scotland.. Our Factory
Bairds Windows have recently moved factory due to expansion over the years and didn’t have any space left in the 8000 square feet factory. We manage to buy the old abattoir situated in the Creeside Ind Est.
This site allows us to build a factory for our needs with different zone for timber, painting and pvc with a floor area of 30,000 square feet . Also giving us space outside .
